Paul Harris: President-Elect

I am writing to state my opinion on the president-elect position. Like Will stated earlier today, I believe the main thing we can do to help ourselves as a group will be to build a better model for application sharing across centers. All centers are unique and we obviously should not strive to run informatics cores in the exact same format. However, I believe we should work to create technical clusters of excellence and work hard to coordinate communication and effort among those clusters. To be honest, I'm not sure how much I really want to be president-elect - it looks like a lot of work. However, I am willing to give it a shot and would try hard to do a good job representing the group and advancing the fine work already underway from current leadership.
