VTC.com Online Training information

The BRIA/VTC online training service is managed by the BRIA Education Committee and provided to active members only because the subscription is purchased using funds from the dues. If you are an active member if you have paid 2006 dues, or if you are new to the organization this year, access to the VTC training is a benefit of your membership within the BRIA.

BRIA Education Grant

The Executive Board may present up to two Scholarship/Training grants of $500 each for this year to any active BRIA member, (as verified by the treasurer's records) who submits an application (on line) by the September 8 deadline that is deemed meritorious by the review process (specified below). The purpose of this grant is to help support the BRIA member's participation in an educational event (meeting/training/etc.) that occurs between 9/8/06 and 3/27/07 that he/she will be able to report on/present to the BRIA group, as a whole, at this next year's annual meeting.

The Web Committee has developed an online application to facilitate the submission process. The deadline for submissions is 5:00 PM Eastern time on Friday, September 8, 2006. Criteria for selection are (1) relevance of the knowledge gained for the membership in addition to the individual recipient; and (2) the potential for a valuable presentation at the Meeting, or an Informatics Grand Rounds if a winner cannot attend the Meeting.
